During our lives we spend so much time and effort trying to accumulate wealth but we can’t take all that we have amassed with us to our graves once we pass away. Any wealth we leave behind will be utilised in the following way:
1) Pay for any costs related to our burial
2) Settle any outstanding debts that we may have
3) For any Wassiyah (bequest) we made (if any) to non-heirs, charities etc (max 1/3rd of our remaining wealth)
4) The balance will be distributed among our heirs according to the Islamic laws of inheritance
